1. What do I need to run iYoga?
iYoga requires an Apple Macintosh computer running OS-X. You might also like to have external speakers connected to your Mac if you wish to play music during your iYoga class. If you are interested in a Windows version, please watch this website for future announcements, or send an email to the address at the bottom of this page with Windows Version in the subject line. Please mention which version of the Windows operating system you use.

2. Can I change the voice of iYoga?
iYoga uses the default voice set in your System Preferences. To change the voice, open System Preferences, click Speech and select the Text to Speech tab. Select a voice from the pop-up and adjust the Speaking rate if you desire. Vicki, Victoria, Fred and Bruce all make good instructors.

3. Where do I get iYoga classes?
There are several classes of different styles included with iYoga. These provide a great starting point for your practice and can be easily edited to meet your needs. Yoga books provide a huge variety in style and level of difficulty for you to choose from. Pick your favorite book from the Resources Section, type a sequence into iYoga, and you have a new yoga class. Also, visit the websites in the Links section, some provide complete sequence recommendations. Or simply enter your favorite asanas in the order you like to do them. Most of all, take control of your practice with just a few minutes at the keyboard.

4. Can a weightlifter use iYoga?
Weightlifters have many of the same needs as yoga practitioners; they perform specific exercises for a specified number of repetitions in a particular order. iYoga can be used to create training sessions for weightlifters simply be typing in the order of exercises, the number of repetitions and the amount of weight to use. Rest periods and instructions for each exercise are also easily included. iYoga specifically includes the 'repps' keyword for weightlifters so that iYoga can time exercises automatically. 5. Does iYoga work for languages other than English?
At present, the Speech Synthesizer on Mac OS-X from Apple Computer only supports the English language. Therefore, the current version of iYoga currently only speaks English.
