iYoga's Designer
Joe is a software engineer and part-time
musician who has been practicing yoga regularly for 3.5
years. He began a home practice after reading Rodney Yee's
excellent book Moving Towards Balance in an effort to
re-energize from a hectic existence polluted by business
practices in Western culture. While working with Rodney's
book, a variety of other texts and yes, even an egg timer
for following timing directions, the idea for guiding a
home practice with speech synthesis was born. Joe uses
iYoga in his daily practice and welcomes your comments and
suggestions.

Thanks to Rhonda Stratton for the photographs used on the
iyogayoga.com web site. Most were taken at the Great Sand
Dunes National Park in Southern Colorado, USA during a
4-day Nature Conservancy workshop at the
Medano-Zapata Ranch with Linde Waidhofer and Lito Tejada-Flores of Western Eye
Photography. The images were acquired digitally in RAW
format with a Nikon D70 through a 300mm lenses, mostly
in early morning light, and processed with PhotoShop
CS to prepare them for the web.
